Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff haven’t officially joined the race for Kohl Rosario, but that could soon change. The 2026 standout has been turning heads this spring and has recently caught the attention of Duke’s recruiting team in Durham. Rosario, a four-star wing from Moravian Prep (N.C.), delivered an eye-catching performance over the weekend, signaling his intent to raise his profile and attract more interest from top-tier college programs.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pound sharpshooter—who already holds more than a dozen offers—scored a game-high 30 points to lead his Overtime Elite team to a 113-89 win over U18 Zalgiris Kaunas at the NextGen EuroLeague Finals in Abu Dhabi. Remarkably, Rosario went a perfect 10-for-10 from the field, including 6-for-6 from three-point range.
Just a week earlier in EYBL play, Rosario posted a 28-point game, knocking down six of eight attempts from beyond the arc.
Currently, he ranks No. 96 nationally and No. 3 in North Carolina in the 247Sports 2026 Composite rankings.
