Nottingham Forest can sign the player they bid for in 2024 by taking advantage of Leeds United’s PSR deadline.

During the summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest is looking to add a winger.

Prior to their upcoming European trip, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team needs extra depth out wide, and rumours have it that Nottingham Forest has made a bid for Borja Sainz of Norwich City.

The offer is thought to be in the region of £13 million, but Athletic Bilbao is a rival. Raul Moro of Real Valladolid is also being considered by Forest, since he contributed 11 goals in La Liga last season. Leeds United, a recently promoted team with a PSR deadline approaching, has another wide player Nottingham Forest ought to consider.

During the PSR deadline, Nottingham Forest ought to attempt to sign a Leeds United winger.

After operating on a large budget in the Championship, Leeds has recently been promoted to the Premier League and is expected to have to make some sales before the conclusion of the fiscal year. According to financial expert Stefan Borson, the Whites have till June 30th to raise the required sum of money. Using their position, Nottingham Forest might attempt to recruit Wilfried Gnonto, a winger they were interested in last summer.

Leeds maintained their £30 million value for Gnonto, rejecting Forest’s £16.9 million proposal; however, there might be a chance to rekindle interest and get him this month at a fair price. Gnonto, who is only 21 years old, fits the description of the ideal wide player for Espirito Santo’s system and is the kind of player the team has been pursuing in recent years. Both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga were brought in at comparable points in their careers.
