This fall, the Duke Blue Devils’ men’s basketball team will appear very different from the one that many predicted would win the NCAA title the previous season.
Sharpshooter Kon Knueppel, big man Khaman Maluach, and star forward Cooper Flagg are all going to the NBA draft. Dame Sarr, Cameron Boozer, and Cayden Boozer have committed to them, though, and supporters are thrilled to see what some are describing as one of the school’s greatest recruiting classes in recent memory.

Duke basketball shared a picture of Cameron and Cayden Boozer along with their father, Carlos, a former NBA player, on their official Instagram account.
Six of his 13 NBA seasons were spent with the Utah Jazz, and in 2006–07 and 2007–08, Carlos Boozer was selected to the All-Star team. He finished his career with averages of 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 2002 NBA Draft.

At Duke, where he played collegiate ball, he won a national championship in 2001 and was named the ACC tournament’s MVP the following year. The 6-foot-5 point guard Cayden Boozer went to Miami’s Columbus High School. He is regarded as a persistent on-the-ball defender and an excellent facilitator, and he was a four-star recruit.
Five-star prospect Cameron Boozer, a 6-foot-9 power forward, came from Columbus High. He can score from the low post and has dependable hands. He also has the ability to develop into a competent perimeter shooter. In addition to being a talented outlet passer and a strong rebounder, he also has some defensive promise and the ability to run the fast break and uptempo the game.
