This summer, the smart money is on West Ham United signing Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.

According to one of David Sullivan’s confidants, Sean Whetstone, Jonathan Tah could be on his way to West Ham in the summer transfer window.The East London club has been linked with a bid for the 27-year-old throughout summer, most notably yesterday.Hammers manager David Moyes is keen for a top-tier central defender this summer, after selling Craig Dawson in January and with Angelo Ogbonna turning 36 at the end of the season.Tah appears to be the player who may come in and help Moyes’ defensive ranks at the London Stadium.

Tah understands the game really well and has enough of experience playing at the highest level for extended periods of time with Leverkusen.Jonathan Tah will be a huge hit at West Ham if he does end up transferring to the London Stadium, I have no doubt. Especially given the £17 million sum cited by Sky Germany and others.
