Alan Shearer predicts who will win the Premier League this season: ‘I’m not changing my mind.’

Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker have named three teams vying for the Premier League title: Manchester City, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Shearer and Lineker were on ‘The Rest Is Football Podcast’ with Micah Richards, discussing their Premier League predictions.

Although Shearer refused to budge on City, Gary Lineker believed Arsenal and Tottenham were in the mix.

“I’m not changing my mind,” Shearer said at first. “City,” I said.”

Lineker then added his thoughts: “Of course, I went with Arsenal.”

“It was mostly because you two said City and we couldn’t all say City!

Of course, it’s probably a little harsh that Liverpool was left out.

This season, it appears that fans will be treated to a four-horse race, which hasn’t happened in a long time.

And, while Shearer did not mention Arsenal or Tottenham, he must believe they are hot on City’s tail.

Shearer believes City will win the Premier League ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham.

Of course, when comparing the three mentioned, Erling Haaland could be the deciding factor.

Manchester City has a world-class goalscorer, which is not always the case for clubs in North London.

Son Heung-Min, on the other hand, is now doing an excellent job of replacing Harry Kane‘s goals at Tottenham.

Ian Wright admits that this player has become one of his favourites.

However, Arsenal still lacks a player capable of consistently scoring 20 goals per season.

Gabriel Jesus possesses numerous outstanding qualities but has yet to establish himself as a consistent goal scorer.

And Alan Shearer remains sceptical of Eddie Nketiah‘s ability to lead the queue for Mikel Arteta.

As Shearer points out, City remain the clear favourites for the title, but Arsenal and Tottenham must believe they have a legitimate shot.
