Tottenham midfielder James Maddison has been named Player of the Month, and the Englishman has revealed his greatest moment since joining the club.Tottenham have had a fantastic start to the Premier League season under new boss Ange Postecoglou.

In their first four games, they have won three and drawn one. Summer acquisition Maddison has been a major contributor to their success.The 26-year-old has two goals and two assists in four games this season. His strong start has resulted in him being named Premier League Player of the Month.

Maddison shares the moment at Spurs that gave him chills

It’s still early days, but there was a moment at the club that gave Maddison chills, and supporters will want to hear what he said.

Maddison spoke to the Premier League after earning the Player of the Month award about his favourite moment thus far. “I’d probably say none of the goals or assists, but walking out against Manchester United for the first home game,” he stated. “I got goosebumps.”

This is fantastic to hear from Maddison and demonstrates how, despite only being at the club for a month, he has already fallen in love with it.

His midfield ingenuity is something Spurs have lacked for years, and it has surely given them a breath of fresh air.

Spurs’ game against Manchester United was undoubtedly a significant statement of intent. It demonstrated that they can compete towards the top this season.
