Leeds United player may have a fitness concern according to the manager; the player’s injury troubles may have reappeared.

During international breaks, clubs are most concerned about players returning exhausted or hurt. Few football players like to turn down calls to the national team, particularly if they are competing for a spot.

Daniel Farke’s preferred choice for Leeds United’s starting lineup this season is Maximilian Wöber, who is behind Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk.

The defender indicated that part of the reason for that was a calf injury last week, prior to Austria’s encounter against Slovenia.

Wöber told the Austrian media, “Nothing major, but it should (needs to) heal properly this early in the season.” “It’s fine again; I trained normally for the entire last week.”

He did, however, express his worries over the field on which his team was scheduled to play. “There are actual furrows in the pitch when it opens up quite a bit. That makes it rather risky.”

Although Wöber was considered one of the finest players during the 1-1 tie, it now seems he has developed a fitness problem.

According to Kicker, Austrian manager Ralf Rangnick stated that there is uncertainty over the Leeds United player’s health for tonight’s game against Norway. Naturally, there will now be worry that the calf ailment is resurfacing.
