LEEDS UNITED TARGET IS UP FOR SALE FOR £18M BY CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB THIS WEEK.

With West Bromwich Albion likely to sell Grady Diangana this week, Leeds United may have a serious chance of signing him.

West Bromwich Albion are trying to move Grady Diangana this week, with Championship rivals Leeds United showing interest.

That’s according to Alan Nixon of The Sun, who believes West Brom ‘want to offload’ Diangana in the coming days.

West Brom are reportedly looking to bring in some cash before the transfer deadline, and Diangana is a likely option to leave.

Diangana has made no appearances this season, and West Brom appear willing to offload the winger if they can find a buyer.

It has been reported that two clubs, Leeds United and Burnley of the Premier League, are interested.

The Clarets appear to have a number of wide players and are currently looking to sign Genk winger Mike Tresor.

The Belgian international might be ahead of Diangana on Burnley‘s shortlist, giving Leeds genuine chance of a deal.

Leeds United can benefit from Grady Diangana’s deception.
Diangana has undoubtedly failed to live up to his full potential in recent years.

The 25-year-old was exceptional during the 2019-20 season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 30 appearances while on loan from West Ham United.

The Baggies spent roughly £18 million for Diangana that summer, albeit only £12 million was paid up front.

West Ham fans were devastated at the time, feeling that by allowing Diangana to join West Brom on a permanent basis, they were losing a major talent.

Diangana, dubbed ‘dangerous’ by Paul Merson, appeared bound for success, having wowed fans and analysts alike with his flair and extraordinary ability.

Diangana’s final product hasn’t quite been there since making the permanent move, with only seven goals and four assists in 92 games.

Maybe Diangana needs to leave West Brom for a fresh start and to strive to go back to his best.

If Diangana can deliver the flare we know he can, Leeds may have a star on their hands in their promotion push.
