Spurs’ outcast offered loan to Inter Milan

Out-of-favour Pape Sarr, a Spurs midfielder, has been offered a loan to Inter Milan.

According to Italian news site FCInterNews, the 20-year-old’s entourage has sounded out the Nerazzurri as a prospective loan destination as he seeks a loan transfer where he can get more playing time.
Sarr‘s representatives, according to FCIN, are seeking for a new club for him to join on loan.

The Senegalese has had difficulty breaking into the Tottenham lineup. Sarr joined Spurs from Metz in the summer of 2021 and was loaned back to the Ligue 1 club the next season, making this his first season with the club.

Among these was a start versus AC Milan in the Champions League round of sixteen at the San Siro.

Sarr didn’t appear intimidated by the circumstances.

The 20-year-old does not appear to be a bigger part of the Lilywhites‘ plans for next season than he was this season.


Sarr failed to break into the lineup last time around under former Inter and Juventus coach Antonio Conte. Then, Conte‘s unexpected departure placed the entire team in a state of anxiety.

Next time, ex-Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou. The Australian coach, according to FCIN, would be happy to let Sarr depart in quest of playing time.

According to the Italian newspaper, the Senegalese‘s representatives have inquired about a move to Serie A.

Inter, in particular, has received an offer to potentially loan in Sarr.

The Nerazzurri are still hunting for a replacement for Roberto Gagliardini in the midfield for next season.

With the departure of the 29-year-old, Inter now have only five senior midfielders in their roster; they want to have six next season.

Lazar Samardzic of Udinese is another player on Inter’s radar in this transfer window. The 21-year-old, on the other hand, will not be cheap.

Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich is also a possible target.
Meanwhile, Besiktas are expected to sign Roberto Pereyra on a free transfer. As a result, the Nerazzurri will lose out on the ex-Juventus and Watford midfielder, who was a key low-cost target for them.
