The two clubs will face battle against one other on Monday at the City Ground (7.45 p.m. kickoff) in the first round of games following the break for international travel. Burnley’s first three games have not resulted in any points, while Forest’s first four games have resulted in two victories.

In order to win at Forest, Kompany acknowledged that his team had “room for improvement” prior to the game. Burnley’s Belgian boss is aware that Forest has the same objectives as Burnley and is motivated to win this game.

There is no denying that these are the kinds of games you want to win, and both parties will experience the same emotions that we do.

“I still believe that there is considerable opportunity for development within our team, so I am unable to make any conclusions at this time. If we succeed, it will be a positive sign that we will advance. Anything else is still a chance for us to produce outcomes in the future. We are aware that this season will be difficult as we attempt to establish our legitimacy in this league.

We also need to consider how long this season will last. This does not imply that each game is not equally crucial to the outcome, but rather that the wider picture is how we improve and achieve our goals.

“We believe we will arrive there, and for us, it is only a matter of time.”
