West Bromwich Albion Are Interested In Signing Versatile £4M Premier League Star

According to TeamTalk, West Bromwich Albion are keen to compete with promotion rivals Middlesbrough and Leeds United for Liverpool fullback Conor Bradley this winter.

WBA

Bradley, according to the outlet, could be allowed to leave on loan once the January transfer window opens in the coming weeks due to his lack of game time at Anfield thus far.

Bradley spent last season in League One with Bolton Wanderers, where he had a fruitful spell under head coach Ian Evatt, scoring seven goals and recording six assists in 53 appearances across all competitions, which is quite impressive for a wingback.

This was also Bradley’s first loan spell, and the Greater Manchester club won the EFL trophy, defeating Plymouth Argyle in the final, despite losing promotion to Barnsley in the playoff semifinals.

According to the CIES Football Observatory, his market value increased to £4 million as a result of his performance with Bolton.

Nonetheless, since returning to Liverpool in the summer, the Northern Ireland international has yet to make a single Premier League appearance, though he has appeared twice for the Reds in Europe under Jurgen Klopp, including in the Reds’ 2-1 defeat away at Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday night.

Author’s Opinion

Bradley was too good for League One Bolton Wanderers at times last season. It’s a shame the Trotters were not promoted because Bradley could have returned to the Toughsheet Community Stadium and tested himself at a higher level.

West Bromwich Albion would be an ideal destination for the youngster. Carlos Corberan is playing appealing football that complements Bradley’s game, and the youngster could even provide some much-needed competition for Darnell Furlong’s right-back spot.
