Wolves are barely £5 million away from making a move for Tottenham target.

Alex Scott has been connected with a number of teams, including Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolves and Tottenham are allegedly interested in the Bristol City midfielder, who is one of the EFL’s brightest young players.

Tottenham, according to Ben Jacobs, are one of the teams leading the battle to sign Scott.
According to The Telegraph, the Molineux outfit is attempting to gain a march on Spurs.

According to the tabloid, Wolves have made a £20 million approach for the 19-year-old.

They are’ready to make a second better offer’ that is more in line with the club’s rigorous £25 million valuation.

Wolves reportedly tried their luck with a £18 million opening bid, which the Championship club rejected.

Along with Wolves and Tottenham, Bournemouth allegedly made a bid for Scott, which was also rejected.

‘He has the ability to glide around the football field.’
It’s no surprise that both Wolves and Spurs are allegedly interested in signing Scott.

He has been brilliant in the second division at the age of 19, and he appears to be Premier League material.
Scott has already appeared in 91 competitive games for the Robins and is an England Under-20 international.
According to a Bristol World story from 2021, Scott has drawn parallels to Manchester City and England midfielder Jack Grealish.
This is because of their dribbling styles, frequent fouls, and the way they wear their socks. As a result, the term ‘Guernsey Grealish’ was coined.

Tony Vance, the manager of Guernsey FC, told the same publication that Scott “has all the right attributes in terms of nothing fazes him.”

“He delivers at whichever level you put him in… When he moves, he has incredible equilibrium.

“He has the ability to float around the football field.” He appears to be a No.10 sort of player, but anything can happen.”

We’ll have to wait and see what occurs in the next weeks. Wolves and Tottenham are both viable choices for Scott.
To be fair, he’d probably get more game time at Molineux right now.

Nonetheless, the chance to play for Tottenham Hotspur, a team aiming to return to the Champions League, may be appealing.
