Liverpool in contact with ‘Pressing Machine,’ Potential Solution to Their Issues

According to a report, Klopp called the £35 million midfielder “very interesting” and said that he loved Anfield

Jurgen Klopp is considering a raid to acquire the Sheffield United midfielder before Thursday’s transfer deadline because Liverpool wants Sander Berge.

With only two points from their first three games, the Reds had a poor start to the year, and their loss to Manchester United on Monday raised red flags.

However, Klopp’s team responded in spectacular fashion, thrashing Bournemouth 9-0 in a breathtaking display at Anfield.

Liverpool’s problems aren’t solved, though; given their struggles in the midfield this year, they still need to consider adding reinforcements.

Numerous names have been mentioned, and Sheffield United star Sander Berge will be well-known to Liverpool supporters.

I WANT SANDER BERGE FOR LIVERPOOL

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Klopp has reportedly long admired Berge and Liverpool are interested in signing him.

According to reports, Berge’s contract contains a £35 million release clause, which is £13 million more than the sum Sheffield United paid to acquire Berge in January 2020.

The former Genk star is wanted by Club Brugge in Belgium, but Liverpool may now enter the fray.

There were allegations made earlier this month that Sky Sports commentator Gary Weaver had mentioned Liverpool’s interest during coverage of Sheffield United vs. Sunderland.

We have reviewed the past coverage, and while Weaver did mention Berge’s future, Liverpool was not mentioned.

Although there has been some history of Liverpool’s interest in Berge, these recent claims do indicate that Liverpool are nonetheless interested.

In a 2019 match between Liverpool and Genk, Klopp reportedly told Berge on the field that he is a “very interesting” player.

Berge later stated that he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool because he wants to play at Anfield as much as possible.

Berge may not be a household name, but he is a skilled and athletic midfielder who could fill a variety of positions under Klopp.

Berge, an imposing midfielder, is one to watch closely in the closing days of the season, especially given that he is only 24 and could develop into a crucial member of the team under Klopp.
