After Mo Salah scored two goals for Egypt last night, Jose Enrique reacted.
During this international break, Egypt called Salah up for friendlies against Niger and Liberia.

The Liverpool superstar started on the right wing, where he typically plays, and despite not being at his very best, he still managed to score twice against a very weak Niger team.

Salah picked up the ball inside the box shortly before the half and scored the first goal past Mahamadou Tandja Djibrilla Kassali Djibo.

Ten minutes into the second half, Mostafa Mohamed extended Egypt’s advantage, and 12 minutes later, Salah made it 3-0 from the penalty spot after the hosts were given a penalty.

Liverpool’s season has gotten off to a stunning start.

The Reds are now in eighth in the league standings, nine points behind league leaders Arsenal and eight behind Manchester City. They have won just three of their first eight games overall.

To have any hope of contending for the Premier League crown, Jurgen Klopp’s team must recover as swiftly as possible, and Salah will need to step up.

He should feel quite confident after scoring twice last night, and Liverpool supporters will be hoping he can resume his goal-scoring form after the break.
