Tottenham and Crystal Palace clash: ‘magnificent’ Tottenham player is back- Ange Postecoglou.

Ben Davies’s fitness status has improved, according to Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou, before of the Crystal Palace game.

Speaking to the media prior to Friday night’s Premier League trip, the Spurs manager confirms that the Wales international is available following his absence from the previous game.

Due to an injury sustained in training, Davies did not start on the bench for Tottenham’s victory over Fulham on Monday night.

In response to a question from football.london on Postecoglou’s fitness, the Spurs manager stated that the 30-year-old was OK and available.

Indeed, he is alright, Postecoglou remarked. The day before training, he received a knock.

It’s true that our training occasionally verges on the dangerous side, and he regrettably took a nasty one during it.

“It was just a knock, but it kept him out because it was the day before the game.” He is well-trained, confident, and prepared to travel.

Davies is available for Tottenham again.
It’s fantastic to hear this. It appears that the knock wasn’t a major problem.

It’s hardly surprise that Postecoglou is being cautious with his player management given the short turnaround between the Fulham game and the Palace encounter, especially with those who were absent during the international break.

It was fortunate that Davies received a rest following the blow because he started both of Wales’ games during the international break.

Even though Davies is a “magnificent” player, he hasn’t played much this term. Only four Premier League games have he played in, and those were all as a substitute.

But he did captain Tottenham against Fulham in the Carabao Cup, demonstrating how highly Postecoglou regards him both in the team and in the locker room.
