West Ham are becoming increasingly unhappy that a £40 million player has yet to sign with them.

West Ham United may have sold Declan Rice for a club-record price this summer, but they’re having trouble spending their windfall.

While the Hammers have a lot of money to play with, getting these transactions done isn’t easy.Moves for Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, and Carlos Borges have either slowed or crumbled completely, forcing West Ham to look elsewhere.Mohammed Kudus is one player they’ve been negotiating with, and as has been the case all summer, this agreement is dragging.According to Dean Jones, appearing on The Done transaction Show, West Ham are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the Kudus situation, noting that while they are pretty sure of completing the transaction, they are frustrated that it has not yet occurred.

Jones revealed all he knows about the £40 million man.

“That’s the kind of deal that could spark something exciting for Arsenal this window, whether it’s Kudus or not.” West Ham are irritated because he hasn’t made an appearance yet. They had been waiting for Kudus’ response for quite some time. They’re relatively optimistic, but the difficulty is that Kudus has known all summer that he has a lot of potential in this market, and was once connected to Manchester United. He wants to play in the top-tier Premier League, therefore it makes sense for him to sit out for the time being,” Jones remarked.

Kudus appears to be waiting to see whether a Champions League club will come in for him before signing with West Ham.We can see Kudus’ point of view here. After all, he is a fantastic player who deserves to play at the top level, but this is really frustrating for West Ham.Simply put, the Hammers want to know what their team will look like this season, and with so many transfer targets still on their radar, it’s difficult to predict who David Moyes’ best XI will be this term.

West Ham are fed up with the Kudus situation, but we don’t see this transaction moving quickly.
