Coventry City against Norwich City prediction: ‘Falling apart’

This weekend, Coventry City host Norwich City, with the Sky Blues hoping to climb the Championship table and emulate their successes from last season.

MARK ROBIN

However, Mark Robins‘ team has struggled thus far. Coventry are 13th, but they’ve won their previous two games and have just lost once since the season began.

Meanwhile, Norwich City are seventh. They’re doing better than most expected this season, but they’re coming off a bad run; the Canaries have lost four of their previous five games in all competitions, including a loss at Swansea City in midweek.

Some of our writers predicts thus:

“This season, Coventry has an intriguing record. They’re drawing a lot of games but losing a lot of them, so it’ll be difficult for Norwich to win here.

“And, while things appear to be coming together for the Sky Blues, they appear to be falling apart for Norwich.” This one is shaping up in favour of the hosts, and I believe they will come away with a convincing victory.

“I’ll back the Sky Blues to win this 2-1.”

Coventry City vs Norwich City prediction: 2-1

“Norwich City’s early-season momentum has undoubtedly waned.” They’re falling down the Championship standings, while Coventry is finding its feet with this new-look group. Many anticipated the Sky Blues to find form, but the successive victories will provide comfort to both fans and manager Robins. The win over Blackburn was tight, and despite their dismal form, I believe Norwich will find some success.

For that reason, I’m going to go with a draw.”

Coventry City vs Norwich City prediction: 1-1
